Caden is 6!!!

Wow! My first born is now 6. It is unbelievable. It seems like yesterday that I was giving birth to my 9.5lb baby!!!
Caden, you have been such a joy!! You have really matured over the last year. This year you have learned how to ride a bike without training wheels, you have lost your first teeth, you have learned how to read, but most important, you were baptized!!!
Even though you are getting older, you are still so sweet! You love to be around us and play with your sister and brother. You love watching Curious George, Scooby Doo and Batman. You love to play Mario Cart and Chess. You love to build (create) things like boats, planes and even submarines. You are so smart. You are a whiz at math and getting stronger with reading every day!!! I just love you so much buddy!!!! I will love you forever!!!!
For Caden's birthday he really wanted to go the Chucky Cheese and have his first sleepover party! So Braden, Kyle and Jackson went to Chucky Cheese and then came over to sleep/play. The boys slept in the tent we put up in the playroom. It took them a while to fall asleep because they were so excited (and someone was passing gas:)
The next day we had family and more friends come over to celebrate!!! The kids played outside and in the new playroom. The birthday was a weekend long event!!! That is usually the way we do it in the Klick house!!!

A Party for Two!

Caroline and Ellary celebrated their 3rd birthdays together. We had a party at the same place they had their 1st Birthday party. The girls wore matching outfits with very fancy,fluffy skirts. They had princess cupcakes and lots of pink everywhere. All of the kids played on the playground and in the woods. Sammy even had a big fall in the mud. The girls had a great time.
Caroline and Ellary are best friends. They love to have play dates and play "baby stuff" and kitchen. Caroline loves to just call E on the phone to say hey! It is so sweet to see these two together!!! Hopefully they can have their sweet 16th together!!

She is Three!!!!

It is difficult to believe that my little girl is now three years old. Wow!
Caroline is such a joy and has grown up soooooo much this past year. She loves to take care of her baby "Cata". She usually beats me to his room with paci and lovey in hand. She loves to play with her babies and doll house. She loves to set the table, put her clothes away and is always asking "how can I help you mama". God has given her a very serving heart. Caroline also loves dancing (naked most of the time) and singing. She usually makes up her own songs. Caroline is our sugar and spice and everything nice. Happy Birthday baby girl!!!
On her special day we woke up and and opened presents. For dinner we went to her favorite place, Jason's Deli. After dinner we went to Build a Bear. She was able to pick an animal and stuffed it but also put her paci in it. Now that she was three she could no longer have her paci. She was very excited to have this pony but when she got home and could not have her paci, it was a different story. She even asked for a knife so she could cut it out. It took many nights with her crying herself to sleep. It was very sad. She no longer had her comfort that she had had since she was a baby. After a week she finally started sleeping at night without it. She probably will not nap again. Luckily she will not remember this difficult transition.

We had a party for Daddy's birthday. All of the family came. (Even baby Santa) Daddy loved all of his presents but everyone loved the new Carolina Snuggie!!!

Pirates and Princesses

Ahoy there Mateys!!! Caden wanted to have a pirate drop off party for his fifth birthday. All of the boys dressed as pirates and Caroline and Sydney dressed as princesses. We played a walk the plank game, musical treasure islands and even had a treasure hunt. The kids also had fun taking turns hitting the pinata. We had pirate cupcakes and pizza and opened presents. We had so much fun and Caden got a lot of cool presents!!! Happy Birthday Buddy!!!

Daddy's Birthday!

The kids and I woke up early on Daddy's birthday to bring him breakfast in bed. We made him pancakes and brought him his paper. The kids were so excited to give him his gifts also.
Later that week we went to Chili's and celebrated with the Barbours. After dinner we were able to take a sleigh ride around Brier Creek. The horse's name was Charlie.
On Sunday we had family over to celebrate also. Wow, Daddy had a lot of celebrating that week. I guess "33" is a big deal!!!! We love you Daddy!!!

Caden's 4th Birthday!

Caden celebrated his 4th birthday at Brier Creek park. Everyone wore green in honor of Caden's favorite color. We hopped like frogs and played pin the frog on the lily pad. Everyone had a great time even though we had to dodge mud and I had to run off 100 soccer players from our tables. :)
It is amazing to me that Caden (my first born) is already 4 years old. My time with him has gone so fast. It is such a joy to see him grow into the wonderful little guy that he is!
